Kia America listed the 2026 Sportage Hybrid at $30,490, a $1,410 gap under Toyota’s hybrid-only RAV4 LE before destination. The LX is front-wheel drive, destination is $1,495, and Honda’s CR-V Hybrid Sport opens at $35,630. That sheet, posted July 30, 2025, is still the number that sets the compact hybrid SUV fight.

The 2027 LX later moved only $100, to $30,590, as Kia began dual-sourcing the hybrid in Georgia. The 2026 price is the floor that held.

Kia Parks the Hybrid $1,410 Under Toyota

Toyota’s own newsroom puts the 2026 RAV4 LE starting MSRP at $31,900, and every RAV4 is now a hybrid or a plug-in. Kia’s LX undercuts that sticker by $1,410 before either brand’s freight charge. Honda’s CR-V Sport Hybrid MSRP is $35,630, which is $5,140 above the Sportage LX, plus a $1,450 destination fee that brings the Honda to $37,080.
