Daily Wire Infidels Trailer Claims the Action Lane Hollywood Left Empty

The full trailer for Run Hide Fight: Infidels dropped August 6 and locked a September 16 exclusive premiere on Daily Wire+. Jonathan Majors plays a Delta Force veteran who arms students after radical Islamic terrorists seize a liberal college’s pro-Palestine encampment and impose Sharia law.

The logline is blunt. Terrorists execute “infidels” in a makeshift caliphate. A security guard tired of “Uncle Tom” smears and red-blooded students join the fight to keep America from surrendering on its own soil.

The Campus Caliphate Premise Hits Streaming First

Kyle Rankin wrote and directed. The story transplants 1980s siege energy to a New England campus. Producers lean hard into Red Dawn and Toy Soldiers comparisons.

Trailer dialogue lands the thesis early. One line lists three paths for Islam to conquer the West: immigration, the wombs of women, and using national freedoms against the country. Majors snarls the closer: “That’s the American way.”

Majors Returns as the Delta Force Anchor

This is Majors’ first major screen role since his 2023 conviction on misdemeanor assault and harassment charges involving then-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. Hollywood dropped him from Marvel and other projects. He completed a domestic-violence intervention program and has been rebuilding.

Sonnier told outlets Majors loved the script and is “totally 1,000% behind it.” The actor’s presence gives the low-budget film a recognizable face and a built-in redemption narrative that right-leaning audiences have already embraced.

On X, fans called it a Kang-versus-jihadist matchup. Critics of the casting saw a canceled star with limited options. Either way, the trailer puts him front and center in tactical gear leading the counterattack.

Rankin Reprises the Run Hide Fight Blueprint

Rankin’s 2020 original followed a high-school senior fighting school shooters. Daily Wire acquired North American rights after traditional distributors passed. It premiered at Venice, hit the platform in January 2021, and earned a 30% Rotten Tomatoes score from 20 reviews.

The sequel keeps the “resourceful underdogs fight back” core and escalates the politics. Isabel May has moved on to Scream 7 and 1883. Rankin stays the constant.

A Five-Million-Dollar Shoot That Drew a Walkout

Filming in South Carolina produced its own headlines. In April, Majors and co-star JC Kilcoyne fell through an unsecured window during a stunt, dropping about six feet. Kilcoyne needed stitches. The incident became the tipping point for an IATSE crew strike that cited safety problems, black mold, falling set pieces and poor communication from the director.

Producer Dallas Sonnier has been explicit. “We all worship at the altar of John Milius and Red Dawn. And Eastwood, and all the other wonderful action stars of the ’80s, Stallone and Schwarzenegger. Nobody’s making these types of movies anymore.”

Sonnier said that while promoting the project. He also framed the story as a response to the “new obsession with the anti-Israel, pro-Palestine movement.” Mainstream studios have largely avoided framing radical Islam as an on-campus existential threat in recent years. The vacuum is real.

Daily Wire’s first film proved the company could acquire and distribute material others rejected. Infidels is the next step: originating the provocation in-house and keeping the entire release exclusive. The same parallel track appears in other conservative media bets. It also echoes ongoing political fights, including the congressional fight over Sharia-free proposals that keep the underlying cultural argument alive in Washington.

Outrage Arrived on Schedule

An LA Times opinion piece in July by Sue Obeidi of the Muslim Public Affairs Council Hollywood Bureau and Jose Antonio Vargas of Define American labeled both Infidels and another film “xenophobic and Islamophobic.” They argued the projects rehash 40-year-old tropes and monetize outrage while contributing to a climate of threats against Muslims.

Deadline noted the online censure that followed the logline. On the other side, Ben Shapiro posted the trailer with a clear mission statement.

In Shapiro’s post on Hollywood’s three-decade refusal, he wrote that the threat of radical Islam is real and that Hollywood has refused to tell that story for three decades. He called Infidels the biggest, most audacious, funniest and most kickass film Daily Wire has released. The post drew millions of views.

Tommy Robinson amplified the trailer to his large following with simple anticipation. YouTube comments treated the plot as near-documentary, joking about Dearborn and calling for theatrical runs. Others dismissed it as propaganda or career suicide for Majors. The split is the business model.

Even Marvel has been willing to mock Hollywood’s own excesses in projects like the Marvel’s own Hollywood satire trailer, yet the specific radical-Islam campus siege remains off-limits for major studios. That leaves the field to Daily Wire.

Exclusive to Members and the Parallel Track

Run Hide Fight: Infidels will not reach theaters or broad streamers. It lands only for Daily Wire members on September 16. The IMDb page for the 2026 sequel already lists the full credited cast and the standalone-sequel relationship to the 2020 film.

Daily Wire has faced its own headwinds, including workforce cuts and traffic questions. A $5 million original that converts outrage into renewals still fits the economics of a subscription platform that does not need universal approval.

The trailer has already done its job. It announced the date, restated the thesis, and drew the exact lines of support and condemnation the producers expected. Whether the finished film delivers the kickass action Shapiro promised will be settled inside the paywall next month. The larger disruption is already visible: a parallel entertainment system now produces the American siege movies that the old system will not.
