VITURE Phantom Beast Glasses Turn Phantom Blade Zero Into Wearable Collectible
VITURE and S-GAME drop $599 limited Phantom Beast XR glasses with sword temples, scabbard case and blade replica, shipping the same day as Phantom Blade Zero.
VITURE and S-GAME opened pre-orders August 27 for the limited Phantom Beast XR glasses at $599, a themed edition of the flagship Beast that ships October 29, the exact day Phantom Blade Zero lands on PS5 and PC. The pair turns a portable 174-inch virtual screen into a kungfupunk collectible complete with sword-shaped temples and a scabbard case.
The drop is more than cosmetics. It locks a full hardware kit to a major AAA launch and treats wearable displays as day-one artifacts rather than afterthought accessories.
The Collaboration Drops at Gamescom
The announcement landed at Worlds of Play: The Game Art Exhibition in Cologne during Gamescom week. VITURE, the XR glasses maker, partnered with S-GAME, the studio behind Phantom Blade Zero, for its first Chinese game-studio collab and its second major AAA tie-in after last year’s Cyberpunk 2077 Luma Cyber glasses.
David Jiang, founder of VITURE, said the project was personal. “Wuxia is part of how I grew up, and Phantom Blade Zero honors that world in a way I’ve been waiting to see for a long time,” he said in the full VITURE and S-GAME announcement. “Building Phantom Beast let us do more than put a logo on a product, we built a way for people who’ve never set foot in the Wulin to feel like they belong there.”
Soulframe, Game Director and Founder of S-GAME, added that the glasses bring the game’s kungfupunk aesthetic into the real world and that XR can become a new stage for AAA titles. Pre-orders are exclusive to viture.com and the IGN Store. Shipping begins October 29.
Temples That Look Like a Blade Mid-Draw
The design language pulls straight from the game’s blade-forward visuals. Metal detailing on the temples recreates the moment protagonist Soul’s sword clears the scabbard. Part of each arm reads as the red Mó Sanguine blade; the rest reads as the scabbard itself. Forged-metal accents run along the sides of the temples and the case.
- Temples modeled on Soul’s blade frozen mid-draw
- Detachable neck lanyard with traditional wuxia patterning and martial-arts ornamental pads
- Case finished as a triangular metal drawer wrapped in textured black leather that slides open like the game’s blades
- Crimson interior that surfaces when the case is drawn, plus deep-embossed Phantom World seal and VITURE × Phantom Blade Ø mark
- Redesigned on-screen display menu fully reskinned to the game’s UI
The package itself doubles as shelf-ready display art showing a stylized portrait of Soul with flames behind him. Crowds on X immediately keyed on the “unsheathing” language VITURE used in its own posts, treating the whole kit as a wearable weapon rather than plain eyewear.
Same Flagship Specs as the Standard Beast
Under the new skin sits the same optical stack VITURE debuted with the Beast in April. The glasses create a 174-inch virtual screen viewed at four meters, driven by the latest Sony Micro-OLED panels.
| Feature | Phantom Beast / Beast |
|---|---|
| Virtual screen | 174″ at 4 m |
| Resolution | 1200p per eye |
| Refresh rate | 120 Hz |
| Peak brightness | 1,250 nits, 9-level electrochromic dimming |
| Field of view | 58° |
| Tracking | Built-in 3DoF VisionPair |
| Audio | HARMAN AudioEFX spatial |
| Connectivity | USB-C plug-and-play |
| Price | $599 limited vs $549 standard |
Five built-in display modes cover 16:10 anchor for fluid combat, ultra-wide panoramic, immersive real-time 3D conversion, side mode for multitasking, and auto-transparency electrochromic lenses. Contrast hits ≥100,000:1 with 108% sRGB. IPD range is 58-70 mm. Weight is listed at 98 g on the fact sheet. Materials mix magnesium-aluminum alloy frame and hinge with PC + TPE temples.
USB-C works directly with Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Steam Deck. For PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Switch and Switch 2, players add VITURE’s Pro Mobile Dock or the smaller Mobile Dock Mini. VITURE currently claims the only XR glasses with Switch 2 support. The standard Beast sells for $549; the $50 premium here buys the full collector layer and themed UI.
What Comes in the Collector Box
Beyond the glasses and scabbard case, the kit packs four exclusive Phantom Blade Zero collectibles plus a pre-order bonus.
- 12.5 cm (4.9-inch) Mó Sanguine blade replica
- Game-art card brick
- Sticker set
- Themed lens cloth
- Detachable lanyard, four nose pads, USB-C cable and prescription lens frame
- Hand-drawn scroll-style game-world map with dual rollers for anyone who orders by November 5
The map is limited to pre-order and early purchase customers. Everything ships in oversized collector packaging built for display. The official Phantom Beast product page shows the full bounty and the five display modes tuned for the game’s combat pacing.
Phantom Blade Zero Arrives the Same Day
Phantom Blade Zero is a dark wuxia action-RPG built in Unreal Engine 5. S-GAME founder Soulframe Liang coined “kungfupunk” for its mix of traditional Chinese martial-arts choreography, steam and punk fantasy, and folk-horror tones. Players control Soul, an elite assassin framed for murder and given a tight window to uncover a conspiracy.
The game launches October 29 on PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam and Epic). It was delayed from an original September 9 date for extra polish. Hong Kong action star Donnie Yen served as creative consultant on combat and provided likeness and motion capture for a key character. The title carries a 12-month console exclusivity window on PS5. Pre-orders for the game itself opened earlier in August with trailers and a dedicated State of Play segment.
The glasses are positioned as the portable way to step into that Wulin on a massive private screen, whether the source is a console via dock or a handheld. The Phantom Blade Zero official site frames the aesthetic the hardware now wears.

From Cyberpunk Collab to Kungfupunk Collectible
Last year’s Cyberpunk 2077 Luma Cyber glasses proved VITURE could turn a major license into limited hardware. Phantom Beast repeats the move with deeper physical storytelling: the case that unsheathes, the miniature blade, the scroll map. It also marks the company’s first direct link to a Chinese studio and the wuxia tradition Jiang cited as personal.
VITURE has claimed strong positions in the U.S. XR display-glasses segment in earlier IDC periods and continues to expand retail and portfolio. The Beast line already supports a wide device list and is often compared against XREAL for gaming and media. A parallel budget AR glasses disruption path shows how the category keeps splitting into premium immersive and accessible entry points. Themed collabs sit at the premium end and give both hardware and game a shared cultural moment.
This is not an unboxing. It’s an unsheathing.

That framing has stuck with early viewers. At the Cologne exhibition VITURE let visitors wear the glasses while playing the game, turning the product into a live demo of the immersion claim.
Who the Kit Is For and What Changes Next
The $599 price and limited extras target fans who already plan to buy Phantom Blade Zero and want the matching display hardware, plus collectors who treat special-edition eyewear as shelf pieces. Because the core optics match the $549 Beast, buyers who mainly want the screen can stay with the standard model; the premium buys the story and the physical artifacts.
Compatibility across phones, PCs, Steam Deck and docked consoles means the same pair can move from living-room PS5 sessions to travel. The second-order effect is simpler: major game launches now have a ready path to branded wearable screens that ship on day one. Future AAA titles may see similar sealed collabs as a way to deepen launch windows and give players a physical object that keeps them inside the world after the credits.
Pre-orders are live now. Glasses and game both arrive October 29.
