NEURA Mobile Robots has acquired 100 percent of the shares in ADLATUS Robotics GmbH of Ulm, folding an established maker of professional cleaning machines into its Physical AI plans just weeks after a record funding round. The deal, announced 24 August 2026, equips the cleaners with extra sensors and AI so they stop following fixed routes and start reading surfaces, dirt types and situations.

David Reger, founder and CEO of NEURA Robotics, framed the purchase as more than a product add-on. Cleaning forms a huge global labour market and a clear test case for machines that understand what they see and sense.

That product-family path matters because the group already sells full AGV solutions from vehicle to fleet software. Cleaning units can ride the same sales channel and the same lifecycle service model rather than needing a separate go-to-market stack from day one.

The second layer of the deal sits in the platform itself. NEURA is building an open Physical AI infrastructure called Neuraverse that lets different robots, sensors and AI models share capabilities. ADLATUS systems become both a commercial line and a live testbed.
